New Perspective is governed by a Board of Trustees, a voluntary group who are elected at annual general meetings. The Board has legal responsibility for the management of the project, including its general direction and focus. Trustees have meetings every 8 weeks where issues such as services, staffing, fundraising, future direction, and prioritising are discussed. Trustees are required to undertake work between meetings and may also be required to represent the Organisation at external meetings and events. Becoming a Trustee can be demanding but it is a way of directly influencing the development of the Organisation. We are always keen to recruit people who feel they have particular skills or expertise to offer. Any member can stand for election onto the Board of Trustees. For more details about becoming a Trustee contact New Perspective or download the role description, then fill in the application form and if you are not already a member or can’t remember, fill in membership form |
