African Services

We provide advice and guidance to help meet the cultural and language needs of our African clients. 

African specialist workers/volunteers carry out one to one sessions providing information, advice referrals and advocacy to support you to access, and get the best from, the services that you need to help you. 

The workers also offer emotional support where needed. 

Peer Support

Peer support has proven to be tremendously important towards helping individuals living with HIV move through difficult situations.

In peer support groups, people who have like experiences can better relate and can consequently offer more authentic empathy and validation.

It also provides people with similar lived experiences to offer each other practical advice and suggestions for strategies that professionals may not offer or even know about
