Community Services

We provide a befriending service for those service users who may have very little social contact with others and need emotional and some practical support to live independently.

Volunteering

Much of our work is undertaken by volunteers and without them we cannot provide the level of service that we want.

New Perspective depends on the skills and energy of its volunteers.

There are always exciting volunteering opportunities on offer for people from all backgrounds.

You don't need to be HIV positive to volunteer, except in a few roles which will be notified.

All volunteers work closely with paid staff, and all travel, meal and reasonable childcare expenses will be reimbursed.

As a volunteer you will be eligible to attend many of the workshops and courses on offer.

All of which can assist you if you are interested in volunteering in order to develop your professional skills and/or find paid work in an HIV or related field.

Whatever your reasons for volunteering, we shall offer a warm, supportive and friendly environment.

We recognize that many people who volunteer have a number of other commitments, so you can volunteer as often as it suits you.

We offer full training and support and promise that it will be a fulfilling and rewarding experience
